1. What This Reference Is
Windsor Residents Directory is a privately operated reference. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, court and county portals, library collections, and directory sources connected with Windsor, Colorado, including the Town public-records page, Larimer Landmark Web, and Weld EagleWeb. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with the Town, either county, the State of Colorado, a court, a library, or any records custodian.
2. Rules For Lawful Use
Use the pages and linked tools only for lawful purposes. You may not use them or information obtained through them to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm a person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft, fraud, impersonation, or another offense
- Make an FCRA-regulated decision about credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or another covered purpose
- Scrape, copy, or republish the material at scale
- Interfere with the reference or a linked portal's operation or security
3. No Consumer Report
This reference is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. section 1681 et seq. Nothing on the pages, and nothing returned by a linked search tool, is a consumer report. It may not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
4. Outside Links And Tools
Assessor, recorder, elections, court, library, archive, and sponsored search links lead to services with their own terms, fees, availability, and privacy practices. Windsor Residents Directory does not control or endorse every outside result and is not responsible for a destination's content or data handling. The Colorado court-record request form and linked county portals illustrate that outside access rules can differ by record type.
5. No Warranties
The reference is supplied as is and as available. No warranty is made that a page, record field, office detail, fee, coverage date, or external link is accurate, complete, current, secure, or available. Confirm important information with the custodian before relying on it.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from use of this reference or any linked resource, including an action taken from a record found through it.
7. Your Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless the operators from a claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arises from your misuse of the reference or breach of these terms.
8. Original Material
The original text, design, logo, and layout belong to the operators or their licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Linking to a page and quoting a short excerpt with attribution is allowed. Republishing a full page or copying the material systematically is not.
9. Term Changes
These terms may be revised by posting an updated version. Continued use after the effective date means the revised terms are accepted. External custodians may change their own conditions separately.
10. Access Restrictions
The operators may block, limit, or remove access for a user who violates these terms, abuses the reference, attacks its security, or interferes with another person's lawful use. Action may occur without advance notice.
11. Colorado Law
Colorado law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Colorado public-record requests are addressed by the Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S. 24-72-200.1 through 24-72-205. Criminal-justice records are addressed by the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act, C.R.S. 24-72-301 through 24-72-309. Those statutes do not make every record public and do not replace a custodian's access rules.
12. Severability
If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed only as needed. The remaining provisions continue in effect.
13. Questions
Questions about these terms may be sent through the Contact page. Requests for a government record must go to the office that holds it.
